Patient resources

Everything you need before you arrive.

First visits are simpler here than most places, because nothing is being sold to you. Here is what to expect, what to bring, and how paying for care works.

Your first visit

Plan on a conversation before anything else. Dr. Jaghab will ask what brought you in, what your past experience with dentists has been like, and what you want for your own teeth; then a thorough exam, digital X-rays if they are needed, and an honest walkthrough of what he sees.

You will leave knowing the state of your mouth, what (if anything) deserves attention, and what your options are, including the option to wait. No treatment starts until you understand it and choose it.

Patient forms

New-patient paperwork can be completed in the office before your first appointment; arriving about ten minutes early is plenty. If you would rather handle it ahead of time, call (248) 855-4800 and we will get the forms to you.

Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medications you take.

Insurance & payment

We see patients with and without dental insurance, in network and out. Many of our patients come from outside their plan’s network and stay, because the care here is driven by what your mouth needs, not by what a plan reimburses. We will help you understand and make the most of the benefits you have.

Whatever your situation, you will know what care costs before it happens. If money is a constraint, say so; planning around it, honestly and without judgment, is part of the job.

Questions before your first visit?

Call the office. A real person will answer during office hours, and we are happy to talk it through.
